Monetary economics EC38043, spring 2026, 10 credits

This is an optional course in the PhD programme in Economics, given at Stockholm University and the Riksbank.

This course will cover basic monetary theory, empirical regularities of monetary variables, and a range of policy-oriented theories involving both representative – and heterogeneous-agent models.

This course replaces EC38026. It's a 10 credit course (from spring 2025).
