Last week, Minister of Finance Elisabeth Svantesson presented the budget proposal for 2024, and the government's focus on inflation was quickly met with criticism.

Anna Seim disagrees with the criticism. In Svenska Dagbladet, she is asked why she thinks the government is right in its focus on price increases.

"When inflation is as high as it has been in the past year, it requires that several actors take responsibility. Most important is that fiscal and monetary policies do not pull in different directions", Anna Seim says.
