Among the questions were: Is a new electricity subsidy needed next winter? How will households with low incomes cope with the cost increases? Does the state need to inject more money into municipalities and regions to enable them to manage welfare – and can this be done without inflation accelerating? Participants included Minister for Finance Elisabeth Svantesson (M), economic policy spokesperson Mikael Damberg (S), as well as Lars Calmfors and Anna Seim, researchers in economics at Stockholm University.
