Roine Vestman appointed expert

The Swedish government has given a committee the task of investigating mortgage ceilings and amortisation requirements. From 15 June, the committee also includes experts from academia and state administration, as well as trade and industry.

The committee consists of Peter Englund, professor at Stockholm School of Economics, Susanne Ackum, dean at School of Business and Economics at Linnaes University, and John Hassler, professor at the Institute for International Economic Studies. The committee must present their investigation report by 31 October 2024.

Roine Vestman, Associate Professor of Economics at Stockholm University, is one of the members on the group of experts, which was appointed on 15 June.
