Heidi Layne is a senior lecturer in Sustainable and Global Education at the ICER partner University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She has lectured at the University of Helsinki, and as Research Scientist at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her background is in social context of education: low-income families, understanding everyday multiculturalism, racism, and transitions in education in Singapore and Finland.
