Thirteen department researchers secure nearly 50 million SEK from leading Swedish agencies

Thirteen researchers from the Department of Environmental Science have achieved significant success in the recent funding rounds organized by the Swedish Research Council and the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development (Formas), securing close to 49.1 million SEK (€4.3 million) for 15 projects.

“It’s truly exciting to see so many researchers from our department succeed in the open calls this year! The impact is widespread – we can bring in new PhD students and postdocs, enriching our research community. For the individual researchers, securing new grants holds significant personal meaning,” says Anna Sobek, Professor and Head of Department.
