Methane levels are rising – could it be nature's response to warming?

Jeremy Wilks from Euronews visits Askö research base in Sweden, and meets with scientists who are investigating a methane mystery!

Researchers in Sweden are trying to find out why levels of the climate-warming gas methane are rising rapidly and nobody is quite sure why. Could it be a natural response to a hotter planet?

Volker Brüchert¹, David Bastviken², and Thea Bisander³ are the scientists in Askö who are on a mission to measure natural sources of methane.
