Teaching form in the autumn semester 2021
Due to the current situation surrounding covid-19, the Department of Law has compiled information about what applies to teaching and examination during the first half of the autumn semester 2021, i.e. the first 10 weeks or “A-period”. Information about the second half of the semester, or “B-period” will be available soon.
Over the past year, most of the teaching both at Stockholm University as a whole, and at the Department of Law specifically, has been web-based. For the most part, the reasoning behind previous decisions regarding teaching form during the pandemic in the spring 2021 is still relevant for the autumn 2021.
Below, you will find information about what applies to the various types of courses offered to our international students. Please note that by "smaller groups", we mean groups that are smaller than 8 people, in accordance with the restrictions currently in place in Sweden.
Courses for Exchange Students
The courses will be held online with the possibility of certain degree of on-campus attendance if teaching can be carried out in small groups while observing physical distancing.
Courses taught in English with registered non-EU students will have a certain degree of teaching with mandatory on-campus attendance. Examples of such teaching are seminars in small groups or so-called tutorials. The small groups will insure that physical distancing can be observed.
No examination will be held in examination halls. All examination will be digital.
Courses on our international LL.M.s
The default rule will be that all teaching is to be held online, but courses with registered non-EU students will have elements of teaching with mandatory physical attendance. Examples of such teaching are seminars in small groups or so-called tutorials. More programme-specific information will be communicated directly to all admitted students shortly.
No examination will be held in examination halls.
