Adepi Award 2022 to Eleonora Rosati

Every year, the Spanish association Adepi recognises individuals who have done outstanding work in the defence and development of intellectual property rights. This year, the award goes to Eleonora Rosati, Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University.

Eleonora Rosati is Professor of Intellectual Property Law and Director of the Institute for Intellectual Property and Market Law at Stockholm University. She has repeatedly been named as a particularly influential person in her field and is the author of several articles and books on intellectual property law. 

Eleonora has prepared technical briefings at the request of and delivered talks to several international organisations and EU institutions and agencies (including WIPO, European Parliament, European Commission, and EUIPO), as well as international professional bodies and organisations (including ALAI, INTA, AIPPI, LIDC, and ECTA).

In addition to researching and teaching at the Department of Law at Stockholm University (Sweden), Eleonora is also an Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice (Oxford University Press), a Guest Professor at CEIPI-Université de Strasbourg, a Research Associate at LegalEdhec at EDHEC Business School (France), and an Associate of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law at the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom). She also comment on IP issues for well-known blog The IPKat on a regular basis.
