The diverse team representing SULaw in Wienna included Pearl Ku Chiu, Rym Zid, Alina Latypova and Mark Malekela.

The Willem C Vis Arbitration Moot is the world’s largest and most prestigious international competition for law students who specialise in commercial and arbitration law. This year, the event took place from March 22-28, 2024, and saw the participation of 390 universities from 91 different jurisdictions. 

During the general rounds, the Stockholm University team competed against teams from the University of Mainz (Germany), the University of Zurich (Switzerland), the University of South Carolina (USA), and the University of Miami (USA). 

In preparation for the competition, the team participated in several in-person pre-moots held in Stockholm, Florence, and Berlin, as well as several online practice rounds.
