Studying an LL.M. at SULaw – What is it like?

The Department of Law at Stockholm University offers five international one-year master programmes in English, in areas of law representative of Swedish excellence and expertise. Besides three well-established long-standing LL.M. programmes in European Economic Law, European Intellectual Property Law and International Commercial Arbitration Law, two new specialisations started in the academic year 2021-2022, in Environmental Law and Public International Law.

But what is it like to study an LL.M. programme at SULaw exactly? Janna Aquino, from the Philippines, was part of the very first cohort of master students in Public International Law, and shares her experiences in the article below:

The application round for our LL.M. programmes for the academic year 2023/24 opens on 17 October 2022 with a deadline on 16 January 2023. Please note that there’s only one application round a year and that all our LL.M.s start in the autumn semester.
