Work environment and equal treatment

At the Department of Linguistics, we strive to develop a positive work environment. We want to make sure that all students and employees are treated equally.

We work to ensure that all employees have a good and healthy work environment. Employees and students must be treated equally and treated with respect regardless of age, sex, ethnicity, religious beliefs, transgender identity or expression, sexual orientation or disability.

Council for work environment and equal treatment (RALV)

The local council for work environment and equal treatment meets at least twice per year. The council addresses key issues and conducts work environment and equal treatment risk assessments. The council consists of a working group from the department's management and administration, work environment representatives and student safety representatives. The working group also meets for smaller meetings every two weeks.

Work environment representatives

Work environment representatives act on behalf of employees in matters related to the work environment. Their task is to safeguard a good working environment. Similarly, student safety representatives act on behalf of students in matters related to the work environment.
