The Department of Linguistics has about 80 employees and is headed by a team of heads of department. The Department Board is the highest decision-making body of the organisation.
Eli Raanes from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, is a visingting research fellow at the Department of Linguistics from August to November 2022.
President of University of Tokyo, Teruo Fujii, visited SUBIC on the 1st of June. The president showed great interests in the instrument and research projects at SUBIC.
Gaëlle Chantrain is a linguist and egyptologist with a research background from the University of Liege and Yale University. In May 2022 she is a visiting research fellow at the Department of Linguistics.
