Visiting research fellow in sign language linguistics
Eli Raanes from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU, is a visingting research fellow at the Department of Linguistics.
Eli has a professional and academic background in special pedagogy, audio pedagogy, linguistics, interpreting, sign language and subjects related to deafblind communication and tactile sign language. At the Department of Linguistics, she will collaborate with researchers and staff within the section for sign language and work on her own projects and publications on deafblind communication, language development and rehabilitation. She will also engage in methodological development work.
Eli Raanes is visiting the Department of Linguistics from August to November 2022.
