Teaching at the Department of Mathematics spring 2021

All courses will be taught online during the spring 2021. All examinations, including re-exams in August, will be held online (with the possible exception of a few courses).

We urge all students to follow the authorities' recommendations on keeping distances, washing their hands frequently and carefully, and staying at home when feeling at all unwell. See also su.se/coronavirus.

Below you can find information about teaching and examination during the spring.

For the following courses we wait until the end of April to decide whether exams in August will be online or on campus:

  • Computer Science for Mathematicians (DA3018)
  • Numerical Analysis I (MM5016)
  • Some other courses given only in Swedish - details about these can be found on the Swedish version of this page.

All other examinations at the Department of Mathematics will be held online until (and including) August.

To maintain the quality of examinations, the following courses at the division of Mathematics will have an oral exam as well as a written exam.

  • MM5022, Mathematics III - Complex Analysis
  • MM5023, Mathematics III - Combinatorics
  • MM5024, Mathematics III - Logic
  • MM5026, Mathematics III - Ordinary Differential Equations
  • MM7029, Mathematics of cryptography
  • MM8039, Advanced Real Analysis II

The form of the exam will be determined by the examiner for each respective course. These exceptions hold up to an including June.

Some more courses only given in Swedish will also have oral exams, for these see the Swedish version of this page.
