The JMK Library is part of Stockholm University Library, is specialized in journalism and media and communication studies.

The library closes for summer holidays June 18 and will reopen August 23.
Books can also be returned at SUB Frescati.

In order to maintain physical distance and help reduce the spread of Covid-19, only five students may stay at the same time in the library's premises. We also encourage queuing students outside the library to keep their distance and hope that you will feel safe visiting the library.
The university card works as a library card at all libraries at Stockholm University, and is a prerequisite for you as a student to be able to borrow physical books and take part in the library's e-resources. We are open to the public, but only during the library's staffed hours. The course literature may only be borrowed by students at Stockholm University.
Books that have a "magazine" location must be ordered in advance via email.
Do you have a reading disability and need help getting started with talking books? In the digital library Legimus, the course literature is available in talking book form. Contact the library for help via Zoom.
The JMK library has books and magazines mainly in journalism and media and communication science. The loan period for books is normally 28 days.
The course book collection consists of the compulsory course literature at basic level and master's level and the loan period for course literature is seven days.
Copying and printing
For copying, use Printomaten between Stora och Lilla redaktionen on the 4th floor. To make prints and copies, you must have a university card.
