On May 31, 2022 President Astrid Söderbergh Widding, Stockholm University, installed the department's three new professors: Marina Dahlquist, Ester Pollack and Louise Wallenberg in Stockholm City Hall.

The office is part of the central operational support and has the overall goal of ensuring high quality and sustainable long-term conditions for research and innovation as well as public and global engagement.

We offer doctoral programmes in Media and Communication Studies, Journalism, Cinema Studies and Fashion Studies, leading to the Swedish degree of philosophiae doctor, or doctor of philosophy (i.e. filosofie doktor).
