Bee is our second student ambassador

Bee Crinnion is 26 years old and came from England to Sweden in 2017. She has since worked as an administrator and project manager in Stockholm. "As a student ambassador, I want to help demystify life as a physics student and encourage others to follow their interests in physics. I also want to highlight the support available during the programme and how Fysikum actively works to give its students the tools they need to succeed," says Bee.

Bee is a 26-year-old astronomy student originally from England.
"When I first came to Sweden in 2017 as an au pair, the plan was only to stay for a year, but I liked it so much that I decided to move here permanently. Since then I have worked as an administrator and project manager here in beautiful Stockholm."

What are you studying and what are your future plans?

"Considering that I started studying physics only two months ago, I still have quite open plans for the future - now I would like to try out everything that Fysikum has to offer! One of the reasons I chose to study physics at SU was the wide range of activities and opportunities for everyone to find what interests them the most, from the research branch to Physics shows, astro meetings and much more."

What is your vision for your work as Student Ambassador for Physics Social Media?

"Physics and space have always fascinated me, but it still felt like a big step to actually take the plunge and start a formal education in such a complex and demanding subject. But from the very first day of the programme, it felt good - the same feeling I had when I arrived in Sweden and realised that I was in the right place!

As a student ambassador, I want to help demystify life as a physics student and encourage others to follow their interests in physics. I also want to highlight the support available during the programme and how Fysikum actively works to give its students the tools they need to succeed."
