Karolina is in her second year of the Bachelor of Science in Physics programme. She is 24 years old and grew up in Botkyrka. "In the beginning, it can take some time to adjust and then it's good to think about what actually works and what study habits might be worth reviewing." She is studying Portuguese and plans to continue her studies in Brazil in the future.

Who are you?

"I just turned 24, grew up south of south in Botkyrka. As a person I have strong emotions, always had something artistic for me and enjoy my own time in nature."

How are your studies going and what are your future plans?

"I'm now in my second year of a bachelor's programme in physics, and I'm incredibly happy that I get to do exactly what I want! As for the future, I am learning Portuguese in order to continue my studies in Brazil after my bachelor. Apart from that, I am interested in research, mostly because I think it requires a lot out of you on several levels. But just having something stimulating is what I want out of it, so what specifically I end up doing doesn't really matter that much."

What advice do you have for other students?

"To other students who want to study physics, my advice is to be active in your learning and honest with yourself about your study habits. In the beginning, it can take some time to adjust, so it's good to think about what actually works and what study habits might be worth reviewing."

What is your vision for the Facebook ambassadorship?

"Partly to give my student perspective but also to share with you my challenges around studying and self-confidence. I myself have found it valuable to hear from others' experiences."
