We thank Student Ambassador Karolina Anurova!

During the spring term 2023, student ambassador Karolina Anurova has published posts about her studies on Fysikum's social media. Karolina is in her final year of the bachelor's programme in physics and tells us about her future plans. We thank Karolina and are now looking for new student ambassadors for the autumn.

What do you think has been fun about being an ambassador for Fysikum's social media?

- Being able to share my perspective on what it is like to study here at SU and reflect on it. In addition, I have enjoyed the freedom to choose topics, and be able to highlight what I feel is important, but at the same time be able to ask for input when I haven't known what to write about.

What are your future plans?

- For my final year of my bachelor's degree, I have changed my specialisation to meteorology, oceanography and climate physics. I'm very much looking forward to combining my love for physics and nature, and simply being able to immerse myself in these subjects. Then I have a lot of other fun things going on, like moving abroad, and I have just joined Klimatstudenterna where we work to help the Swedish higher education institutions with their climate work.

What do you recommend to other students who want to become ambassadors and for their future studies?

- Of course, I would recommend others to become a student ambassador, but also to student engagement in general, whether it is to improve courses through FÄR, take part in the social activities of the Natural Sciences Association or to help prospective students at fairs, etc. Dare to try different things, learn something new and find what feels rewarding to you!
