Being a new student, there is a lot to think about. On this page, we have gathered some practical information that will hopefully give you a smooth start. If you cannot find the information you are looking for here or at Stockholm University's home page, you are welcome to contact us.

 

A smooth start

Thank you for choosing Stockholm University! In order to ensure that your studies begin as smoothly as possible we have compiled a short checklist for the beginning of term.

Admission and enrolment

Below you will find information about enrolment for the course to which you have been accepted.

First level

Political Science I

Master level

Master's Programme in Political Science

International Master's Programme in Environmental Social Science

International Master's Programme in Political Science with Specialization in Global Asian Studies

Re-enrolment

If you want to re-enrol to finish off a course you have started during a previous semester, send an e-mail to studentexpedition@statsvet.su.se.

 

The Department uses Athena as a course platform for communication between students and their teachers. You will be able to reach each course site when you have registered and activated your University account. You log into Athena using the same university account that you use for other IT solutions.

Athena mobile app

Athena users also have a mobile app available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices. Simply search for itslearning in Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

 

The Department of Political Science uses Athena as a course platform for communication between students and their teachers. There you will also find schedule, curriculum, literature lists etc.
