Embodiment of the social world (7.5 ECTS)
This course "Embodiment of the social world" (PH012F1) addresses a number of fundamental processes through which the social world enters the individual’s body and mind. Further, the course addresses how these processes shape individual’s behaviors and set the conditions for health. Individual’s agency and capabilities are also discussed. In addition, the course touches upon the role of the historical and political context in relation to various processes of embodiment.

This course is offered in collaboration with the Master’s programme in public health sciences: Societal and individual perspectives. The teaching occasions are to be attended jointly with the master students. You will find more information in the PH012F1 Education plan.
