“It is exciting to learn that our programme is the second most applied for by students this year, at the level of those programmes within areas of technology, data science or business, which are in very high demand. This represents a great achievement for all of us working to offer a high-quality programme in public health sciences”, says Sol Juarez. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health Sciences at Stockholm University and is the coordinater of the Master´s Programme.

A programme with a unique profile

Juarez believes that the unique profile of the programme plays a significant role in its popularity.

“As society increasingly recognizes the importance of social determinants of health, more students become interested in learning a social science perspective to tackle public health issues. In addition, I believe the career success of our students is a reason why the programme is building such a strong reputation”, she says.
