Welcome to the Department of Romance Studies and Classics!
The Department of Romance Studies and Classics (Romklass) is made up of the fields included in the title: language studies in French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Latin American area studies and Classical Languages (Greek and Latin). Romklass was created in year 2013 as the result of a merger between the former Dept. of French, Italian and Classical Languages and the Dept. of Spanish and Portuguese and the Latin American Studies at Stockholm University
During the upcoming Christmas holiday, the NILAS Library (Library of the Nordic Institute of Latin American Studies) will be closed from December 23rd to January 6th.
