Dr Felix Klein was appointed Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Antisemitism in 2018. He is the first to hold this post, which was created in response to growing antisemitism in Germany and the debate on how best to counter this phenomenon at the federal level. Dr Felix Klein holds a master’s degree in Public International Law (LL.M.) and held various posts at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin from 2007 to 2018, most recently as Special Representative for Relations with Jewish Organizations and Issues relating to antisemitism.
Svante Weyler is the former chairman of the Swedish Committee against Antisemitism and a Swedish publisher, writer and journalist. He was Swedish Radio's correspondent in Berlin in the 1990s and a cultural writer for the Swedish newspapers Expressen and Sydsvenskan.
