Erasmus+ visit from Daugavpils University, Latvia

Associate professor Svetlana Polkovņikova, Senior lecturer Inguna Teilāne, and senior administrator Vita Mendriķe from Daugavpils University recently took part in an Erasmus+ Mobility exchange with the Section for Baltic Studies and the Slavic Section.

This initiative aimed to enhance the academic collaboration between Stockholm University and Daugavpils University, focusing on both student and staff exchanges. Of special interest was the presentation of Daugavpils University's Linguistics and Graphic Design programs.

Throughout their week-long visit in mid-March, the group explored the learning environment and infrastructure, engaged in academic and pedagogical discussions, and toured the secretariats, local section libraries, and the main university library. The visit is expected to foster an increased exchange of students between the two universities, strengthening our academic ties.
