For the past three years Shirin Tinnesand has been working for WADI E.V. on the frontline of the European refugee-crisis. When the Ukrainian refugees arrived in Poland, she was summoned to Krakow by local actors to help ensure the safety of women and children fleeing Ukraine against human-traffickers among other malicious actors. Shirin will talk about her experiences from Krakow and about what one should think about before going to crisis areas to help or conduct field work.
