Incoming exchange students

If your university has an agreement with the Department of Teaching and Learning, you are welcome to join us as an exchange student.

At the Department of Teaching and Learning we have Teacher Education Programmes for students who will teach at different levels. If your home university has an agreement with our department you can be nominated to come as an exchange student.

The application process

The application process for exchange students is different from that for other international students. Read these instructions carefully:

How to apply as an exchange student

After your home university nominates you, our International Coordinators will contact you by email. You will be sent all the information you need about the coming application process, how to select your courses and how to apply for accommodation in Stockholm.

Welcome activities

We recommend that you participate in the welcome activities that Stockholm University organises for all newcomers. The activities occur during a few weeks at the beginning of each semester and are designed to support you as a new student and introduce you to university life in Stockholm and Sweden.
