After the summer, we will open our Student office!
On August 21, we will open the doors to our Student office, where the students can be helped with some questions directly. We hope that it will make it easier for everyone, both us and our students.
- We started the plans already last autumn, says Study councellor Tomas Brännmark. We listed all the different needs and wishes that a Student office would have to fulfil, talked to students and the student council, sent out surveys and held workshops to process all the material we collected.
- The plan is to open the Student office on August 21, a week before the start of the semester. The room we intend to use is on floor 4, in Arrhenius building E, just inside the door by the corridor where all the teaching rooms are. The space that was previously used for storing and handing out exams. The hope is that everything will be furnished and ready when we open.
Trial period of one year
- It will be very exciting to start after the holidays and see what the students think. Our department is very large, with a huge number of students. Sometimes we are hard to get hold of and there can be a lot of unnecessary emailing before a student ends up in the right place. We want to change that. We hope that the Student office will contribute to giving a positive image of the Department of Teaching and Learning. We are here for you! And we want to help!

When? Open Monday - Thursday 12.30 - 14.00.
Our new student office opens for the first time at Monday, August 21. Welcome then!
