Eight researchers at Stockholm University are appointed Wallenberg Academy Fellows. Among other things, they do research on methane in the Arctic seabed and on decisionmaking on potential disasters.
Four ERC Consolidator Grants to Stockholm University
Four researchers at Stockholm University receive the prestigious ERC Consolidator Grant 2023. They are in the areas of economics, social psychology and analytical chemistry.
On 14–15 December, a new conference focusing on Nordic research in public economics is being organized. The keynote speaker is Emmanuel Saez from the University of California, Berkeley.
Of the 31 younger prominent researchers who are appointed Wallenberg Academy Fellows this year, eight are nominated by Stockholm University. Among other things, they do research on methane in the Arctic seabed and how we can make decisions about potential disasters.

The Assar Lindbeck Medal for 2023 is awarded to Johanna Rickne, professor of economics at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University, and Olle Folke, professor of political science at the Department of Political Science, Uppsala University, for their innovative research on gender equality and political economy.
