About the faculty

Sweden's largest science faculty is located at Stockholm University. It offers top-class education in a wide range of qualified science programs end courses, as well as world-leading research.

The Faculty of Science at Stockholm University consists of four sections with a total of 13 departments and four centres and institutes. The Faculty also has activities at four field stations distributed across the country.

Board of Science

The Board of Science is the governing body of the Faculty of Science. The group is ultimately responsible for education at undergraduate, graduate and PhD level and for the research conducted within the Faculty. The Board of Science inludes representatives of teachers, researchers and students.

The Office of Science serves as administrative support for the Science Faculty and its departments and administers and participates in the Science Academic Area's internal working groups.
