Studying social sciences

A social scientist is interested in the interaction between people, organisations or states and how our society can be understood from this interaction. Social science studies thus provide good knowledge and understanding of social issues in a wide range of subjects such as economics, psychology, education and sociology. With a degree in social sciences, there are pathways to work in both the public and private sectors as analysts, economists, psychologists, social workers, investigators and teachers.

Social science education at undergraduate and postgraduate level is offered both within programmes and as stand-alone courses. The wide range of programmes makes it possible to combine different subjects to tailor your degree. In this way, the education can be adapted both to your interests and to the labour market’s demands.
