Academic ceremonies
Stockholm University arranges a number of academic ceremonies every year to celebrate academic achievements and appointments. The Inauguration and conferment ceremony is the largest, where the doctoral conferment is a graduation ceremony while the professorial installation is a welcoming of newly appointed professors to the University. Twice a year, the master's conferment is held to celebrate those who have obtained a master's degree.
