Nobel Prize

The Nobel Prize is the world's most prestigious prize in science, awarded annually on 10 December for significant contributions to physics, chemistry, medicine, literature and peace. On the same day, the Prize in Economics is awarded. Over the years, four researchers at Stockholm University have received the Nobel Prize. Several of the University's researchers participate in the committees that appoint Nobel Laureates. The Nobel Prize Lectures are annually held in Aula Magna at the University.
