Ethical considerations and guidelines are central to our research. Research ethics encompass ethical review, ethical guidelines, good research practices and other aspects of ethics.
Stockholm University holds regular seminars and monitors continuing developments in the field of ethics.

The Office for Research, Engagement and Innovation Services gives advice on ethical review, guidelines, good research practices, and other aspects of research integrity and ethics.
Handling of research misconduct
Starting 1 January 2020, suspected research misconduct will be examined by the Board for the examination of research misconduct (NOPF). Regulations, governing documents, and more information about how the university handles these suspicions and other suspected deviations from good research practices can be found here:
