Stockholm University processes your personal data when you apply for a job with us.

 

Processing of personal data

When you apply for a job at Stockholm University, we process your personal data such as name, contact details, CV details and other personal data that you enter in our recruitment system where you register your application. The personal data is processed in order for Stockholm University to be able to administer the applications, make a selection and fill the position. Your data will be stored for two years from the time the employment decision for the position you applied for has been legally binding. If you are employed at Stockholm University, your data will be archived in your employment file. 

Stockholm University is the data controller for the processing of the personal data you provide in connection with your application for employment with us. Your data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and associated national legislation, e.g. the Supplementary Data Protection Act (2018:218). The university processes your data as part of the supply of expertise to the university, which constitutes a public interest in accordance with Art. 6.1 (e) GDPR and Chapter 2, Section 2 of the Data Protection Act. Grade Varbi AB is the system supplier and data processor for the processing of the data you register in the recruitment system.

Stockholm University is a public authority and when you apply for a position with us, your application becomes a public document that will be disclosed upon request, unless the information is covered by confidentiality. As a general rule, the information in the application is not covered by confidentiality. If you have a protected identity, please contact the contact person indicated in the job advertisement. 

Remember not to register more personal data than is necessary to apply for the job and avoid registering personal data that is sensitive or privacy-sensitive.

Personal data when subscribing to job vacancies

If you subscribe, we need to store your personal data (your e-mail address) in order to send you job vacancies. Therefore, you need to authorise our processing of your personal data during registration by giving your consent.

Stockholm University is responsible for all personal data, but the processing is carried out by the system supplier Grade Varbi AB through an assistance agreement. he personal data cannot be used by third parties.

Personal data is deleted when you choose to unsubscribe.
