Grindstugan has two apartments rented to international guest researchers and doctoral students.

The house was built in 1916 and has been carefully renovated to preserve its historical interior architecture. It is classified by the state as having high cultural value. To help preserve the historical features, tenants must follow specific rules outlined in the rental contract.

Accommodation details

Each apartment is 69 square metres and has one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

Each apartment is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, sofa bed, and armchair. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dinnerware, and cooking utensils.

You need to bring your own duvet, pillow, bed linen, and towels.

Grindstugan is equipped with essential facilities such as internet, laundry, parking, postboxes, and recycling, making it convenient for daily living.

All apartments have access to Wi-Fi through the university network Eduroam.

Laundry 

A laundry room is located in the basement, and a drying room is available in the basement of the neighbouring house. Use the small cylinder key to book a laundry slot on the board outside the laundry room.

Postbox 

A postbox is located outside the entrance and labelled with the tenant’s name.

Recycling 

Recycling facilities are located just outside your accommodation and at Frescati Hagväg 7.
