Grindstugan

Grindstugan is located in Frescati Hage, a beautiful and calm area close to Lake Brunnsviken, featuring abundant nature and academic history. A ten-minute walk will take you to Stockholm University Campus Frescati and Campus Albano. The house has two apartments rented out to international guest researchers and PhD students.

Each apartment is 69 square meters and has one bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The rent is SEK 14,800 per month. The house was built in 1916 and has been carefully renovated to preserve its historical interior architecture and is classified by the state as having high cultural value. To preserve the historical interior architecture, the tenant is required to accept specific rules specified in the rental contract.

Each apartment is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, sofa bed, and armchair. The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dinnerware, and cooking utensils. Please note that you need to bring your own blanket, pillow, sheets, and towels. 

Location 

A ten-minute walk to Stockholm University Campus Frescati, Campus Albano and subway station Universitetet. A five-minute ride with the subways red line to the city center.

Internet 

All apartments have access to wireless internet through the university network Eduroam.

Laundry 

A laundry room is located in the basement, and a drying room is located in the basement of the neighboring house. Use the small cylinder key to book a laundry slot on the booking board outside the laundry room. 

Parking

Public car parking is available in the area. Bikes may be parked in designated area.

A postbox is available outside the entrance tagged with tenant’s name.

Recycling 

Recycling facilities are right outside your accommodation and at Frescati Hagväg 7.
