Hovbeslag

At Hovbeslag, 14 apartments are available to exchange students, international doctoral students, and guest researchers at Stockholm University.

Hovbeslag offers both private apartments suitable for double occupancy, and shared apartments intended for single occupancy.

The building was constructed in 1911 and has been carefully renovated to preserve its historical interior architecture. It is officially classified as a building of high cultural value.
To help protect its original features, tenants are required to follow specific rules outlined in the rental agreement.

Hovbeslag is a ten-minute walk from Stockholm University’s Campus Frescati, Campus Albano, and the Universitetet underground station. From there, the red line takes you to the city centre in just five minutes.

Rent

All rents are stated per month.

• Room in a shared apartment: SEK 8,100–8,700
• Studio: SEK 9,100–9,700
• Large studio: SEK 10,900
• One-bedroom apartment with separate kitchen: SEK 12,900–14,000
• Two-bedroom apartment with separate kitchen: SEK 17,200

Accommodation details

The shared apartment includes four private bedrooms, a shared kitchen, a dining room, and two bathrooms. The apartments vary in size and layout, and the larger units are furnished with a double bed.

All apartments are furnished with a bed, table, chairs, and a wardrobe. Furnishings may vary between apartments depending on their size.

You need to bring your own duvet, pillow, bed linen, towels, and cleaning supplies.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove and oven, dinnerware, and cooking utensils.

Living in Hovbeslag

Hovbeslag is equipped with essential facilities such as internet, laundry, parking, postboxes, and recycling, making it convenient for daily living.

Internet

Wi-Fi is included in all apartments. Each apartment has a router with information about the name of the network and the password. 

Laundry 

The laundry room on the entrance floor is open between 07:00 and 22:00 and automatically locks between 22:30 and 07:00. Use the small cylinder key to book a laundry slot on the booking board outside the laundry room.

Postbox 

A postbox, labelled with the tenant's name, is located on the entrance floor of the building. Tenants sharing an apartment will also share a postbox.

Recycling 

Recycling facilities are located at entrance 8C.
