Eino Örnfeldt has been recruited as a new university director with the title of Head of University Administration at Stockholm University. He has served as a university director at the Swedish Defense University since 2014. Between 2007 and 2014, he was at the Swedish Ministry of Education and Research, heading up international relations, higher education, human subject research ethics and the establishment of an arts college in Stockholm. Before that, he held a number of posts within the Swedish Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense.

His broad and multifaceted experience, both from government and from higher education, as well as his long and solid executive experience, makes him suitable for the task of leading and developing university administration in the coming years.
