Who do you think should be given an award for good teaching?

Who should be given an award for good teaching? If you are a student who has had a teacher who inspired and motivated you to really learn, or if you are a member of staff who has a colleague who makes outstanding efforts in teaching, just don't hesitate. Nominate your teacher for "The Award for Good Teaching - 2019".

What is The Award for Good Teaching?

Excellent efforts in teaching should be acknowledged and there are many ambitious teachers at Stockholm University who deserve to be rewarded for their work on pedagogical development. Now students and employees have a chance to suggest a teacher for an award!

The Criterion for the selection of The Award for Good Teaching

The award goes to teachers who meet the criterion that they support student learning through: outstanding teaching efforts; acknowledged interest in, and commitment to, educational development of teaching; and acknowledged pedagogical competence.

Important dates

  • The nomination period opens in mid January.
  • Last day to nominate is 15th March.
  • The prize winners will be announced in June via the university web.
  • The winners are invited to the annual promotions and installation ceremony in September, where they will receive their diploma.
