Each year, Times Higher Education ranks universities around the world in the list World reputation rankings. The survey is based on responses from 10,000 university graduates on which universities they believe has the best reputation in the world. An American and two British universities hold the top positions on the list: Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford. Last year, Sweden had one university, Karolinska Institutet, in the top one hundred. This year, Karolinska Institutet (position 45) is joined by Uppsala University (81-90).

Times Higher Education World University Rankings


World reputation rankings is a spin-off of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which is based mainly on various measurable quality indicators (and not reputation). In this ranking for 2014, Stockholm University is on position 98 in the world. 2015 rankings will be published in October.
