If everything goes as planned, the company’s first drug will be approved in 2021.
  • Science in focus during the ceremony in the City Hall 2019-10-18 On Friday, September 27, it was time for Stockholm University’s annual inauguration and conferment ceremony in the City Hall. New professors were installed and new doctors were conferred. In addition, thirteen jubilee doctors and seven honorary doctorates were conferred.
  • The Arctic at Nordiska museet and NUS in the Arctic 2019-10-17 Last week, the new exhibition The Arctic – while the ice is melting was inaugurated by Crown Princess Victoria at Nordiska museet in Stockholm. The exhibition has been produced in close cooperation with the research community.
  • The vessel at the dock in Tvärminne. A new research vessel has arrived at Tvärminne Zoological Station 2019-10-18 Helsinki University has received a new research vessel. The 18 meters long catamaran, funded partly by donations, is built to fulfil the requirements of coastal marine research. The arrival of the vessel is welcomed not only by Helsinki based researchers, as it will also come to use for the Baltic Bridge collaboration between Helsinki University and the Stockholm University Baltic Sea Centre.
