  • Horizon Europe budget petition 2020-02-14 The European Union is the third largest research funding source for Stockholm University. Under the current EU Framework Programme, Horizon 2020, 77 million Euros have been granted to researchers at the university; 50 % more than in the entire previous programme (FP7)! This is a very welcome development, but the budget for the coming seven-year programme, Horizon Europe (beginning in 2021), is now under threat of being reduced further.

  • Improving the lives of the poor through agricultural land trade 2020-02-12 Assistant Professor, Jonathan de Quidt, with Gharad Bryan (LSE), Mariajose Silva Vargas (Maastricht University) and Tom Wilkening (University of Melbourne) have been awarded a grant of 4,4 MKr from Vetenskapsrådet (The Swedish Research Council) to fund their research in Uganda.
