Do you want to start healthy mindfulness habits in an easy way? We'll help you from start to goal in six weeks. Welcome to our group, starting 6 November!
Research shows several benefits of mindfulness and meditation when it comes to your health and wellbeing. It can help you to reduce stress and feel more present and relaxed in your daily life.
How the group works
During a six-week period, we'll guide you and motivate you to start a regular mindfulness practice. We'll meet once a week during the lunch break and do mindfulness and meditation together.
We'll start at a basic level with seven minutes of meditation and then gradually increase the length of the meditations. Each session will include two guided exercises and we'll share tips and insights about meditation.
I felt very welcome and liked the mindfulness exercises. It felt accessible for people without a lot of experience.
Meditation is for everyone!
You don't need any previous experience to take part – just a bit of curiosity and some commitment. We think meditation is for everyone, so we keep it easy and fun and explore together!
Dates: Wednesdays 6/11, 13/11, 20/11, 27/11, 4/12, 11/12.

Please note: To sign up for this group, you need to be able to attend at least four of the sessions.
Leaders: Joel Humlesjö and Kristofer Nord, counsellors at Stockholm Student Health Services. The instructor of the group is a meditation teacher and has practiced meditation for over 12 years.
