What do smart machines do to us and our future? Today, we use machines and artificial intelligence on a daily basis, usually without us noticing. Algorithms and computer programs are in the background of all our digital communication.

Welcome to Science Today - an afterwork that kickstarts the brain and the weekend with exciting research and music by DJs. Science Today invites PhD students and postdocs from Karolinska Institutet, KTH the Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University to present their research on stage.

This eighth edition of Science Today is in Reaktorhallen at KTH and where we examine the theme Man and machine. The reactor hall is the original site of Sweden's first nuclear reactor, the research reactor R1. Today it is used as a creative meeting place.

Maksymilian M. Kuźmicz, PhD student in law at Stockholm University, participates in the panel.
Presentations and conversations take place in English. The conversation is led by the Nobel Prize Museum's Olof Somell.
