The Programme

13:00-14:00: Speed friending

Mingle and get to know other new students, both national and international, in a fun way. You might even bump in to some of your future classmates!

13:00-16:00: Guided tours of Frescati campus

Learn about the main buildings and hear interesting facts about our main campus. The 30-minute tour will help you find your way on campus. The tours start at 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00.

14:00-16:00: Welcome Fair with fika

Meet the representatives of the different units of the university, such as IT-services, the Library, the Student Union, and many more. There will be coffee and sweets!

13:00-16:00: Sports activities with SSIF

SSIF, Stockholm Students’ Sports Club, will hold some sports activities such as grass volleyball on the big lawn outside Aula Magna. Visit their tent to participate in the games, and don't miss out on their competitions where you can win prizes!

16:00: Student pub

Once the fair and other activities have ended, you can visit the various student pubs of Stockholm University. The Social Sciences Association's pub is in Café Bojan near the metro station and welcomes everyone.

The Stockholm University Student Union invites its members (or those of you who want to become a member) to a pub at Kafé Kåriander in Studenthuset.

Travel to campus

Metro: take line number 14 (the red line) towards Mörby Centrum and exit the train at station Universitetet.

Bus: from Odenplan, you can take bus 50 towards Stora Lappkärrsberget and exit the bus at station Universitetsvägen.

Train (Roslagsbanan): if you're coming from the northeastern part of Stockholm, you can take the Roslagsbanan which stops at Universitetet.
