The main topics are urban planning, renewable energy and civil society. A special workshop on food security is also planned.

Gadjah Mada University is hosting the seminar and researchers from other universities in the country will participate. The Stockholm University delegation includes:

  • Erik Andersson, Associate Professor, PhD in Natural Resource Management and System Ecology
  • Eny Buchary, PhD in Resource Management and Environmental Studies
  • Joseph Samec, Professor in Organic Chemistry
  • Eva Hansson, PhD Political Science  
  • Henrik Berglund, Associate Professor in Political Science

SACF is a collaboration between six Swedish universities; Stockholm university, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Uppsala University, Linköping University, Lund University and Chalmers.

In total around 40 Swedish researchers participate in Indonesia. The aim is to promote Swedish research and establish contacts for future collaboration.

The programme in Indonesia takes place in March, and the next stop in the project will be Brazil where there will be a programme organised in May.
