MSCA is EU’s research mobility program and aims to ensure excellent and innovative research by increasing international exchange and supporting researchers’ career development.

The following MSCA projects at Stockholm University have been granted funding in spring 2018:

The project ItohRibo, “Structural study on mitochondrial ribosome assembly in human cells”, is granted MSCA Individual Fellowships for 24 months with a total budget of 173 857.20 euros. Responsible researcher is Alexey Amunts at the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics.

The NutriCoRe project or “An RNA-based mechanism for the nutritional control of bacterial DNA replication initiation” is granted MSCA Individual Fellowships for a project period of 24 months with a total budget of 173 857.20 euros. Responsible researcher is Kristina Jonas at the Department of Molecular Biosciences, The Wenner-Gren Institute.

The SUPERS project, “Unmasking the Progenitors and Energy Sources of Superluminous Supernovae”, is granted MSCA Individual Fellowships for 24 months with a budget of 185 857.20 euros. Responsible researcher is Claes Fransson at the Department of Astronomy where Ragnhild Lunnan, researcher, will work with the project.
