In the pond dominating the conservatory, the giant water lily’s stunning leaves are spreading.

Opening hours & prices

The outdoor parts of the garden are open year around free of charge. The Edvard Anderson Censervatory is also open year around whereas the Victoria house is open only between May and September. Follow the link for more detailed information about the opening hours and prices.

Find us

The Bergius Botanic Garden is located in Frescati, on northern Djurgården in Stockholm. From the underground and railway stations "Universitetet" you can walk to the garden in about 5 minutes.

Restaurant and shop

In the garden you can enjoy a good meal of food of just have a coffee at the Old Orangery Restaurant & Café. A museum shop is located at the entrance of the Edvard Anderson Conservatory.

Areas of the garden

The Bergius Botanic Garden is ideally situated at Brunnsviken, an inlet to the Baltic Sea, and is part of the Royal National City Park.
